And we can&rsquo;t forget that certain breeds are more vocal than others because they&rsquo;re more talkative or sociable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When they&rsquo;re happy or sad, felines will communicate with meows, chirrups, hisses, purrs, chatters, and growls &ndash; but meows are the most common cat communication method. Because of that, pet parents freak out when they notice that their cats aren&rsquo;t meowing. She squeaks, purrs, chirrups, and growls, but doesn&rsquo;t meow. She gets your attention by headbutting you, rubbing her teeth against you, and hopping on your chest, but she doesn&rsquo;t meow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&rsquo;re 100% sure she&rsquo;s never made a meowing sound, there&rsquo;s nothing to worry about.
