But did you know that the same goes for their vision? Yes! It&rsquo;s a plant that&rsquo;s a member of the mint family and it can affect your cat. It includes the chemical called nepetalactone and that&rsquo;s why it&rsquo;s so intriguing for your fluffy buddy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of the time it has a calming effect on cats. Nepetalactone that I&rsquo;ve just mentioned is an oil that you can find in catnip and it affects your kitty&rsquo;s sensory neurons. And when it goes to her nasal cavity, euphoria appears and takes her mind and body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&rsquo;s why sometimes your cat will behave weirdly and it will seem like she&rsquo;s just looking at the blank space.
