Yet, she was friendly and brave—she immediately stole my heart.” Pepa’s affectionate nature became evident quickly; she would rush to greet them whenever they returned home, eager for attention and companionship.
Meli, on the other hand, initially struggled with fear. She was wary of the new surroundings and needed time to feel safe. Feeding her and sitting quietly nearby eventually helped Meli begin to trust her new family.
Amanda emphasized the importance of patience with senior cats, saying, “Though it’s so easy to want instant results, we know that scared cats take time and patience. We are giving her both.” Gradually, Meli revealed a sweet personality, enjoying head rubs and curling up beside her human family in moments of comfort.
